Coach Support Programs
Coach support programs are perfect for new coaches who want to learn about designing effective training plans and
want help working through the complexities of organizing year-round
training and racing. For experienced coaches, the coach support program
stimulates an exchange of fresh ideas and Marlene serves as a sounding
board for problem-solving or experimenting with new training methods.
Through her coaching support programs, Marlene assists coaches with the preparation of
their teams for competition. Marlene has been a consulting coach for Division 1, NCAA, and high
school coaches to improve the performance of their teams. Marlene will make
recommendations to raise your crew's performance and provide feedback on the
workout plans that you create.
Planning your team's training is a gratifying part of being a coach. Having
another experienced coach to discuss ideas, training issues and racing
strategies with is a
valuable source of continuing education.
Marlene helps you set realistic
goals, decide your racing objectives, evaluate your team's performance, and provides feedback
through the season. Interactive email support throughout your subscription period is key for
answering questions, developing tactics or managing injuries.
At your request, Marlene will email
you an initial interview which will ask you about your team, goals, racing
schedule, time available, and the facilities you have access to.
A one-time registration fee for new
coaches includes your initial assessment based on your interview information,
relevant fitness tests, and reference materials. Marlene's Roylerow eNotebook comes with program
guidelines, a technique section with drills, land training section, and reference articles.
Included are
suggestions regarding training for each phase of the training cycle or
reviews of your written programs, email support for the duration of your
subscription, and reference material updates. Coaches also receive one
technical analysis per year.
